Firstly let me thank all those customers who have given us support and understanding over the last quarter. It is hard when so many titles are out of stock at the Record Companies or disappear as soon as they come back in. Already companies are booking pressing time for March 2022!
We have continued to try and provide a good service against this back drop but we are not Amazon so please don't compare us to them. We do not post Saturday or Sunday. Our hours are weekdays 9 till 5.
Emails sent to orders@whatrecords.co.uk are answered and currently we aim to answer all mails by the following day at the latest. If you have not received a reply we have not received your mail.
As we approach the end of the month we will again be doing a sweep of all orders. If we can not get an ETA on items we will look at refunding unless we are led to believe by the Record Companies that restocks are expected shortly. We will partially despatch multiple orders where possible.
Please remember early pre-ordering is essential as we have to place our orders at least 2 weeks upfront. If you leave it to the last minute chances are on some items we will be sold out on pre-sell.
New releases are shipped Wednesday for delivery Friday where possible.
Turnaround times are still a problem with certain suppliers especially orders coming from mainland Europe.
Record Store Day...we can not confirm what stock we are getting at the moment so it is a wait and see situation.
7 Inch singles. I am currently looking at clearing out some of my own collection in addition to those stock items already listed. Most of my items have never been played but I have a few thousand which have. These will be shown as pre-owned and will be in excellent condition. Due to time restrictions these will be added as and when we have time.
We are closed Bank Holiday Monday.
