Arcade Fire return which their highly anticipated 4th album ‘Reflektor’ on October 28th. ‘Reflektor’ follows 3 Platinum-selling albums already in the UK, ‘Funeral’ (2007), ‘Neon Bible’ (2008) and ‘The Suburbs’ (2010). The launch of ‘Reflektor’ on September 9th followed a six week viral marketing campaign spreading the mystical Reflektor symbol across the globe, culminating in a simultaneous global launch of two new videos, the new single, a limited edition 12” vinyl and album pre-orders.
‘Reflektor’ is the bands most epic-in-scale album yet; 13 tracks split across 2 discs. Produced by and recorded in Montreal and Jamaica by James Murphy and Marcus Dravs.
On its release, lead single 'Reflektor' went straight in the top 15 on iTunes. Pre-orders for the album flew from the off and are already over 9,000 with 3 weeks still to go!
The band are set to announce some special live shows in the coming weeks and will be in market in November to undertake an exciting spate of promo including ahigh profile TV appearance!
To support the album the band filmed a hugely unique 22min TV special called ‘Here Comes The Night’ which featured live performance of three new tracks and a host of celebrity guests. Broadcast originally on NBC in the US, it is now live on Vice's ‘The Creators Project’ Youtube channel
