Another week has gone past and there is good news and bad news.
The Good News...Universal and Sony are despatching product to us within 48 hours but the bad news is we are receiving a lot of damaged product due to the poor packing. This obviously delays your orders being shipped by at least a further 48 hours. As does parcels going missing in transit.
Warners still have major problems but we are receiving an order every Friday. Obviously, we hope this improvement will continue but stock levels of some key titles are running very low.
Other smaller distributors are struggling although PIAS seems to be performing better than before the pandemic.
Royal Mail...well they have lost the battle. 48 service has been taking up to 18 days to arrive whilst 24 seems to be next day in some areas but much longer in others.
DPD next day delivery in the UK except Scotland/NI which is taking 2/3 days to arrive.
VERY IMPORTANT...due to the inacurate stock data we are receiving from our suppliers we are finding items can be out of stock one day but in stock the next. We obviously try to backorder any out of stocks but if I can't get a confirmed delivery date we will refund.
