Inga Rumpf, the myth, the voice - City Preachers, Frumpy, Atlantis, NDR Big Band and so on... it takes a lot of space and time to name all of Inga Rumpf's musical stations. The list of her international companions, colleagues (and admirers) is long and includes such outstanding names as B. B. King, Udo Lindenberg, Lionel Richie, Tina Turner or Keith Richards, to name just a few! If there is a living legend in the music business in Germany, it is Inga Rumpf! The new studio album “UNIVERSE OF DREAMS” will be released on earMUSIC this late summer. The album is a gift to all fans, but also to Inga Rumpf herself: the Grande Dame celebrates her 75th anniversary birthday on August 2nd.

Inga Rumpf has published her songs with many bands and as a solo artist in her career spanning over 50 years in the business. But not all of her tunes found their way into record stores.

The many unreleased pearls that Inga recorded with musician friends between 1988 and 2014 and that slumbered in her archives are what Inga would like to bring to her fans on this album, “HIDDEN TRACKS”. In her autobiography Inga writes extensively about the meeting with the Rolling Stones guitarists, who can be heard on the first tracks of the record.

In the 1990s Inga played with various Hamburg musicians. With Nils Gessinger and his band at the time, spontaneous recordings were made in Inga's Hamburg studio, from which you can find four wonderful ballads. Inga also tried out many styles in her own studio with computer technology, which was still new at the time. Two further titles, which are stylistically completely different, coming out of this phase. The recent past represents the collaboration with the ex-BAP guitarist Helmut Krumminga, with whom Inga founded a duo and played many concerts - just for fun. There are also three recordings from this period.
