Overview:
After five R&B hits on chess Records, Laura Lee signed to Hot Wax Records in 1971 to work with the ex Motown producers (Holland - dozier- Holland) newly created label. 'Two side of' Is Lee's 1972 Classic featuring the stand out tracks 'rip off', which became her biggest R&B hit at #3 and 'crumbs on the table'. The Chicago born singer gives a husky voiced performance on a record that was mainly produced by William weatherspoon, formally of Motown. This classic is reissued on vinyl for the first time, pressed on 180g heavyweight Black vinyl with original artwork and printed inner sleeve.
