Overview:

MORILD’s debut album is one of the most highly awaited releases in the new wave of Danish black metal, that also consists of bands such as Solbrud, Or and Sunken. The band was formed in 2016 and released their debut EP 'VI' in 2017. Their grandiose, atmospheric black metal was met with praise among critics and audience alike, and following the debut EP, MORILD has played festivals such as Aalborg Metal Festival, Spot Festival, The New Shit and Kaldet Fra Dybet in Denmark. MORILD's debut album 'Så kom mørket' consists of six, epic, furious and beautiful tracks of atmospheric, shoegazing black metal recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselves. The band will celebrate 'Så kom mørket' with a grandiose release show at the Danish National Aquarium ('Den Blå Planet') on Feb 2nd 2019. Further, MORILD will play A Colossal Weekend at Indisciplinarian Fest in Copenhagen, May 2019. More festivals are TBA and the band will tour extensively in Scandinavia and Europe throughout 2019 and 2020.
