Overview
Gov't Mule is a southern rock jam band formed in 1994 as an Allman Brothers Band side project by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody. This record is their self-titled debut album, originally released in 1995. It has a very jam oriented feel to it and was mostly recorded live in the studio with many tracks running into each other. ‘Mule’ is still a live favorite, and ‘Rockin' Horse’ was later recorded by The Allman Brothers Band when Warren Haynes rejoined the group for the album ‘Hittin' the Note’. This album will be released as a double album and as always will it be pressed on high quality 180 grams audiophile vinyl.
