The Pogues timeless Christmas classic, recently voted the nations favourite 80’s duet (Radio 2listeners)will now be released as a Limited Edition 12” Zoetrope vinyl EP featuring zoetrope imagerybased on the classic Fairytale of New York music video. The EP includes the original version,instrumental version, and a rare live version of Dirty Old Town from Glasgow Barrowland recorded inDecember 1987. Also included from the same Dec 1987 Glasgow show is a completely unheard andunreleased live version of Fairytale Of New York, which captures the first time the band ever played thetrack live. This very special version also features Kirsty McColl’s debut live performance with the band,and is remixed and with additional production by the tracks original producer Steve Lillywhite especiallyfor this EP.
