Hailing from Huntington Beach, the six piece rock reggae band Simpkin Project put a distinct California feel into their work. From the electric guitar accents from group founder and lead singer Phil Simpkin, to the smooth vocal harmonies created with co-founder Sean Kennedy, the sound is at once familiar and refreshing.
