International superstar violin player Lindsey Stirling of Gilbert, Arizona is known for uniquely fusing together Celtic folk, modern classical and dubstep/electronica. Stirling gained notoriety as a contestant on season 5 of America’s Got Talent but skyrocketed to success only after being eliminated in the quarter finals. Her self-titled debut album released reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Chart and Classical Album Chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA. Her subsequent studio albums Shatter Me, Brave Enough, and Warmer in the Winter all produced noteworthy debuts on the Billboard charts and accolades.
Stirling has embarked on several sold-out theatre and arena tours around the world and has sold over 500,00 headline tickets globally. With a diehard fandom and never-ending creativity and tireless work ethic, Lindsey Stirling is set to take on the world.
Titled ARTEMIS after the Greek goddess of the sun and daughter of Zeus, this album takes listeners on a journey of tragedy and triumph. Each song on the album sonically represents the upward struggle that Artemis, the hero of our journey, takes to find the light within. After a period of darkness and struggle, Artemis is transformed and eventually able to find the upside of down.
