Newly Independent Chrysalis Records continues to repackage and refurbish the classic albums released upon the label – this time Blodwyn Pig – Ahead Rings Out. Mick Abrahams was one of the original members and songwriters within Jethro Tull and recorded their first album “This Was” with them before leaving to start his own – more blues/progressive based band Blodwyn Pig in 1969. Ahead Rings Out charted in the top ten upon release in the UK.
