Billy Raffoul’s anthemic debut single “Driver” served as a potent calling card for the 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and musician. His signature sound is a rough-hewn, low-timbered rock and roll that nods to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Neil Young, and Joe Cocker, and is powered by Raffoul’s gravelly, soulful voice and deeply felt lyrics. Raffoul announced that April 3rd will see the the release date for his new EP A Few More Hours at YYZ. Made with producers like Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Barns Courtney), the new EP further redefines the limits of the classic singer/songwriter sensibility, bringing Raffoul’s enchanting sincerity and warm introspection to his most sonically ambitious body of work yet. “Without Falling In Love” follows the release last month of the harmony-laced piano ballad “It’s a Beautiful Life,” which was featured in the mid-season premiere of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
