Overview:
Ayreon, the main project by Prog-Mastermind Arjen Lucassen, has signed with Mascot Label Group. His catalogue albums will be re-issued on the Music Theories Recordings imprint. "The Final Experiment" is Arjen’s first rock opera. The full title is ‘Ayreon: The Final Experiment’ with no band-name given. Later on the label suggested the name Ayreon would be used for any similar projects by Arjen. "The Final Experiment" was originally released in 1995, and features guest musicians such as Barry Hay (Golden Earring), Edward Reekers (Kayak) and Lenny Wolf (Kingdom Come).
