Built To Spill Untethered Moon Limited Vinyl LP

Overview:
“Martsch and his bandmates continue to make dense, driving rock with good old-fashioned chords and melodies, and for this we should all be grateful.” -- Rolling Stone Built to Spill, one of the most endearing and enduring rock bands of its generation, have just released their 8th studio album, 'Untethered Moon'. It is the first BTS album recorded with new band members Steve Gere (drums) and Jason Albertini (bass), who join vocalist/guitarist Doug Martsch plus guitarists Brett Netson and Jim Roth. The album is produced by Martsch and Sam Coomes. One half of Quasi, Coomes is also a session musician who has performed on albums by Sleater-Kinney and Elliott Smith and appeared on every BTS album since their 1997 major-label debut, 'Perfect From Now On'. Bartsch's strong creative and work aesthetic combines with each of the other band members' mix of approaches to create an aural topography. Doug sets course and navigates. Each member of Built to Spill comes to the music with a different set of expectations and ideals. With the complexity and variety of music they have created, BTS endeavours to make songs interesting to themselves and their audience. They hope that the band will remain special and that people will discover the music for themselves.
