What Records are proud to be associated with one of the most outstanding artists of the late 90's and early part of this century, Placebo. With a string of top selling albums and singles, Placebo established themselves through out the world and today music fans are still discovering the sound of this great band.

For the first time since its release as a limited bonus disc to 2003’s album Sleeping With Ghosts Placebo’s ‘Covers’ album will be made available physically as an album in its own right. The album exclusive to What REcords will be pressed on Heavyweight vinyl and be limited to 1000 copies only. A CD version is also being released.

‘Covers’ brings together 10 songs which were featured as b-sides, radio sessions, on soundtracks and tribute albums. It’s an incredibly eclectic selection of tracks, ranging from artists diverse as Kate Bush, Alex Chilton, Serge Gainsbourg and Boney M (full details below).
