| Simple Minds Graffiti Soul Limted Deluxe Double Vinyl Set. Overview Its hard to believe that this year Simple Minds will be celebrating thier 30th Anniversary. It doesn't seem long since I was enjoying some great moments at the NEC Birmingham dancing to the likes of Someone Somewhere... but time flies and bands move on. Many bands fail to retain that something that made them great. Simple Minds are one of the few bands who have and this is their 15th studio album - spanning 3 decades! It follows on from a Greatest Hits national sell out arena tour celebrating 30 years at the end of last year, Graffiti Soul is looking forward! It has the roots of a traditional Simple Minds album, yet comes across contemporary and fresh. The album has already been well recieved in Europe, with Germany leading the way, other territories such as Belguim and Holland are close behind. The band are about to announce the Graffiti Soul tour for later this year, and the summer is getting very busy with festival bookings, both here in the UK and abroad. The band has 2 original members - Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill, along with Mel Gaynor on drums, and Eddie Duffy on bass.
