WITH LATEST album ‘Blooddrunk’ (released internationally since April 14th 08) already proving this Finnish outfit’s most successful outing to date, collecting high positions & impressive early sales in all of the major markets, it’s clear that Children Of Bodom are now very much Major League players.
Led into action by vocalist/guitar star Alexi ‘Wild Child’ Laiho, the band were last in the UK on March 8th, headlining a sold-out show at the Astoria theatre in London and attracting one thousand fans to their first ever UK signing session (at Zavvi in Oxford Street), where they spent several hours signing copies of first single ‘Blooddrunk’.
Now, three months later, in the wake of a Top 45 UK album and much positive press, it’s time for follow-up single ‘Hellhounds On My Trail’ – one of the new album’s fastest, heaviest and most memorable tracks, and proof that success (the band’s catalogue sales now easily top the halfmillion mark worldwide) has done nothing toblunt the C.O.B. edge.

SUPPORTED BY a suitably aggressive video, this is the much anticipated follow-up to chart outing ‘Blooddrunk’, released in the UK back in March. The full details are:-
• Two highly collectible formats: Limited Edition 12” pic disc + six-track CD EP in album jewel case
with full colour poster booklet.
• Both single formats feature exclusive live & studio bonus material, including two cover versions (one
of them a brand new take on ‘Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)’, a song
made famous by Kenny Rogers), plus three tracks recorded live at the London Astoria Theatre back
in March of this year. The ‘Hellhounds…’ video will also be featured on the CD EP.
• In addition, both formats are housed in artwork exclusive to the UK market; the basis for this is a
magnificent, specially commissioned illustration from US artist Owen Richardson.
